yes it is a planet some pointsf for u ,Pluto's average density lies between 1.8 and 2.1 grams per cubic centimeter. It is concluded that Pluto is 50% to 75% rock mixed with ices. Charon's density is 1.2 to 1.3 g/cm3, indicating it contains little rock

Yes pluto is a planet a very small one at that and it is the one that is the farthest away so to say. Here is something to intriege your mind for awhile, did you know that over 2 thousand years ago, actually probably longer there was a culture known as the sumerians, they are one of the oldest recorded cultures on earth, before the time of jesus or even christianity. Did you know that they had pictures of the planets and there position, this may seem unimportant but think about what they said in there scriptures, they say that a race from another planet visited them and told them about it and they say that they live on a planet in our own galaxy but this planet has a 3600 year rotation around the sun. Now flash forward to today and look at pluto, our scientists say that based upon there calculations jupiter show's gravitational pull signs that there is another planet beyond that, however they say that pluto is much too small to account for this type of gravitational pull. Do you think it's possible there is another big planet beyond jupiter, a planet that the sumerians were talking about, a planet known as Niberu. haha now I bet your intrested in learning more, if your board do some research it will keep everyone busy for awhile it is quiet intresting when you are learning about the planets.
