Yes, Ducovney was so authentic, you know. He lived in the role.

I like X-Files as well as my friends. I did not care for the show as much as I had when Mulder left if. Every now and then I catch a X-Files show that I had missed do to work and that is always nice to see.

Oh! One more for the list. I think I will make a list and I will gather signatures and send them to the creators and let them know what we all want.

I also thought that the show went downhill after he left. and all because of him not wanting to be typecast. and i think contracts were part of the problem as well.

Yeah, right. What's wrong with typecast? Excuse me, but he was the best of the best.

I'm an X-Phile, but I have to say that I didn't like the last 2 seasons anywhere near as much as I liked the first 7. Why did DD have to leave? I know that he didn't want to be on a serial for more than 7 years, but he could have stuck with it! Now you don't see him hardly anywhere and most of the shows he does suck. and you see GA on critically acclaimed series like bleak house!

Just tell me about it! He is crazy or something. Maybe someone has to make him realise what he has done to the X-Files and himself

Well, up to now you are the only one who has that idea and impression. But you are always welcome to express yourself freely in my discussions. In what did he seem as good as Mulder? Please, mention. I think he plays like a log. I think Duchovny has a great experience as an actor and he is definately very good as Mulder.

After I have made with my friends some research I'm intitled to say that most of the episodes are having lots of dushes of true leads.

I've never heard about a new movie, but I know that there is a definite that it won't be like the first one. Except if Mulder is a part and a great one in the movie.

To me Mulder made the show. I did watch some of the shows that he wasn't in. But, it just wasn't the same. The spark had fone out after he was replaced. I loved the old shows though.

You see, I think Mulder was the one who "made" the X-files. He was the one who told the notorious "the truth is out there". He was the one who searched and emposed the x-files to the cia and nasa. Scully was always the one with the doubts, the one that was afraid of loosing her job etc.

Mulder was a great part of the show. I stopped watching it when he went missing, i watched those episodes when he was in them and then went back to avoiding the show. personally i think they repeated things a few to many times, slight changes but same old base. (alot of things on tv do) i just didn't think it worked well with this. Sad, because i used to be a huge fan. as a kid i'd stay up late and watch the re-runs or if possible the actual episode. Kudos! ~Joey

Well, lots of people have quit watching the show. They all say the same thing you know. I hope they will change the mind. Be more careful with what they write and of course get Duchovny back to the series.

I loved the show. The eight and ninth seasons were kind of a let down--Mulder made the show.

I know what you mean. We finished the 7th season last year and now through a small channel the 8th season is aired. But with great disappointement we found out the absence of Mulder and lots of people decided to quit watching the show.

No Mulder,no X-files. I think that there is a void without Mulder. He was the best for that role.Without Mulder i havn't seen many episodes.By the way,do you know the series "Eureka"?

Is that show even on anymore?? I never see it on...are they new episodes or just repeats? I wasn't crazy over the show but I would watch the odd episode. I remember one episode where this man could some how control peoples minds and he'd make them do crazy things. If I remember correctly, he even got Mulder doing crazy things..??

Yes, I think there was an episode like that. But I hope you know that probably they ended the series already.

I have not watched the X-files after Mulder left. It was no longer the same without Skully and Mulder Bantering back and forth the facts from both perspectives. That is what made me stick with it. Then I learned knew terms which inspired me to do research on real facts, and even learn to understand my own psychic abilities.... That is why I loved the X-Files. It made my life feel less, insane. I not only watched it for entertainment but also to learn about different things. - DNatureofDTrain

I know exactly what you mean. They made for many people their lives different. They even gave to some of us the urge to search, investigate and not sit around and accept all these the "others" are serving.
