Did you write letters to Santa when you were a kid? What kind of letters and what did you request? Can you remember?

Oh my gosh!! I wrote Santa every year asking for a pony!! I finally got one when I was 10 or 11 and the whole Santa thing was gone and the freaking horse was the meanest thing ever...lmao!! Well anyway needless to say my four year old daughter has written a letter to Santa asking for a "real life pony dyed pink"!!!! Well there WILL be a pony but I dont think I am going thru all the trouble of coloring the thing pink!!!

Ha haa. Nice. I feel so sentimental when my kids do the same things that I did when I was small.

I don't think I ever actually wrote any letters, although, it's very possible I did, but I did make up lists every year and I'd set them out in the living room by the Christmas tree and hope I'd get one or two things off my list.

So did you ever receive any thing that you wished for?

I used to draw a picture of reindeer and a sledge and Santa. I always asked for a bike or some music or craft things. I usually got cuddly toys art and craft things and books.

Ha. May be because your parents wanted you to be more girly or something. So,,, do you read a lot now?

Oh sherinek, I always did send Santa a letter at Christmas. I can't remember a single thing I ever asked him for. I do have a letter I sent to my Grandma, thanking her for some Christmas gifts. It is dated 1954.

Its a real souvenir. I keep things done by my kids in a safe place so that they can see it when they grow up.
