What do you use to burn software, or back up your system? I am using Nero 7 and it works fine but very slow, is there another program that you use that is faster?

Cd Burning Software - I use Nero for burning my cds at home. It works very well.
I also have Nero software for burning cds as it came with my sony cd burner when I bought it. It works very well and have had no problems with it. At work, my computer has Roxio on it and it does well too.

I used to use Adaptec CD creator before the program was taken over by Roxio, and I much preferred it then. The problem that I find with Roxio now is that you need to install a full suite of programs, which is overkill since I would not use most of them.

I use Sonic RecordNow version 7. It's very fast on my machine, but you could be limited by the CD burner itself too, not just the software.

I normally use Nero to burn disks, but I am currently using Windows Vista and Nero is not supported by it so I am using Roxio Easy Media Creator at the moment. I would not use Nero to back up the computer, despite the fact that the facility is integrated into the program. Instead I use Acronis True Image to make a full backup which can be restored quickly.
