My husband and I have been going back and forth on this with so many answers and solutions. It has actually started to really confuse me. I think we finally agreed that the Chicken had to of come first. What do you think and why? Evolution, God, any other suggestions? I am curious to know!

God created the heavens and earth. Then He created man and creatures. So, the chicken came first.

That is an easy question. God created all creatures. So, the chicken came first, and then the egg.

Egg first, if you believe in evolution. Birds evolved from reptiles very slowly getting more chicken-like over thousands of years. At some point, one of the chicken-like animals would have laid an egg from which hatched (what we would define as) an actual chicken.
If you believe in creationalism, then God said "let there be chickens..." and boom! the chicken was first.
