Candied Yams - or sweet potatoes
Mine is really simple. Place sweet potatoes (canned) in a baking dish or stove top, also can use a crock pot. Pour 2/3 of the juice out of the can then empty into pot. Cover with 1 cup brown sugar, 3 Tbls. butter/margarine and 1/2 cup maple syrup. Cook until hot. Remove from oven/pan and top with mini marshmallows, place back in oven and bake until marshmallow brown slightly.

I love sweet potatoes too! Most often I will bake them with some garlic and sugar sprinkled on top. You can also carve a little hollow out and stuff them with feta cheese- this is really delicious! I have also tried the french fries but I can't seem to get it right. I hope you get some more responses because I am also always looking for new ways to make sweet potatoes :)
