I moved to Illinois from FL in 1999. My Son lives in Valrico, my Mom, Brother & Nephew are in North Port, my Dad & Stepmother are in South Venice, my Sister-in-Law & her Husband are in Kissimmee, and I have cousins and friends in many other towns there. I really miss the beach!

Yeah, the hurricanes really do a lot of damage. I worry about my friends and family everytime I see one heading that way. Last year was really scary. Thank God, they all came through them fine.

It sounds like you have a lot of family here in Florida. The beaches are nice but I worry about them when we have hurricanes

Florida - Here is a picture taken in Key West
I lived in Fort Lauderdale for two years while I was in college but no longer live in Florida now. I do miss florida but the humidity and the hurricanes kept me from staying there.

Orlando is a nice part of Florida. I wish I lived in that part. I live in a town 20 or 30 minutes away from St. Augustine.

sea world - i loved watching the dolphins at sea world! this on e is much better than the one in texas!
I lived in florida for about three months when i was in the third grade. up until abou tten years ago i went twice a year. now i don tget to go much any more. i love it there, nut im not sure i would want to live there!

Yes, I live in Florida. I am approximately 25 miles from St. Augustine. It is a nice area overall, I just sometimes wish that I could escape the tropical climate.

Hi! I'm in Florida. I live in Jacksonville, Ive been here for over 20 years now. i like it here, i was born in New York so this is much nicer to me. what part of Florida are you in?

I don't live there. but I have family in Pensa Cola, Jupiter Farms, Port st. Lucie, West Palm beach, N Palm beach,Jupiter, and I think it is called Lakeland. not sure abouat the last one. It was lake something I know.

I moved to Florida just before I turned 16. I used to live in Michigan and Florida was a big change for me. I live on the west coast near Tampa/St. Petersburg. I took a look in the listings and there are quite a few people from the Sunshine state. Not seeing that many post here though :( which is a shame.

I was born in Florida and grew up there (mostly). I lived in a small town called LaBelle about 36 miles east of Ft Myers. I also spend most of my summers in Pensacola. I haven't been there in about 10 years (was for a visit) since I left 17 years ago. I miss it sometimes, but I certainly don't miss the bugs or the humidity.
