Politics is a part of every office. I have seen many instances of favouritism in my surroundings. It becomes difficult to get out of it once you are pulled inside by someone. The best you can do is stay out of it and be as neutral as possible towards things. If you don't get involved, I guess they would also leave you alone

Office politics is part and parcel of any office you take. Without it the office atmosphere will become non-spicy. Yes, there are some office politics which goes beyond the limit and crushes other employees to the point they quit that office just because of that. That is bad. Almost all offices even bigger ones would have office politics. To avoid all these avoid politics going around you, the best thing that you can do is to never involve in any, that is the best advice I can give to everyone. You come, work, and go, that’s it. If you think too much about others around you in the office that is when the office politics starts to erupt. So, try to avoid as best as you can to be away from those for your professional career.
