i think.. ban is not the right word for it. it's okey for students to bring their mobile phones in school. however, there should be strict rules to mobile phone usage... like they can't be turned on during class or when they are inside the library or laboratories. they can only turn it on when having their breaks.

but cellfones r 4 emergency right and emergency may occur at anytim during the class or in the lab

i don't think so cell should be banned in schools/colleges & universities... whats the problem in that...
