So that no matter how small or insignificant you think you are, wherever you stand on it, you're still on top of the world.

Very good! I will try to search the Bible for any verse that supports your view or reason for making the world round. But God said it's not ours to know what the Father placed in his own authority. No one knows the mind of the Lord. Thanks a lot.

i did't know is realy "god" made this world or some one else . but i have some my own ideas about why the world is round . did u know every matter in this world is nothing but a form of energy . may be u also know spherical body's have minimum surface energy than any other shape of body . and its is also true in this world every thing want to minimize their energy . so it is clear worls is round to keep minimize their energy . so that that may stable for long time .

It is designed to be that way for energy efficiency. Any round, spherical, circular body allows for ease movements. The car's wheel are round, gears goes round and round, ball bearings goes round and round, a football goes round and round. So, by observing that, the shape allows for movement efficiency. If the earth was flat, distribution of light is not uniform. With a spherical body, it allows of uniform distribution of light and heat. So, there, it is an efficient way to distribute energy in whatever form it may be.
