Almost all the women in my family are voracious readers, so I'm lucky. Two of my sisters, a cousin and my daughter-in-law and I all exchange books after we've read them. I may only have to buy 1-2 books a year, but one sister and my cousin buy at least 1 every month, read it, then forward it. I'm still trying to figure out how I end up with so many here. I guess I'm last on everyone's list. LOL. When I buy books, I usually go to half.com, because the books are so much cheaper to buy there...half price or less, and usually a lot less.

I don't buy or rent books, when I want to read a book I ask my sister if she has the right novel for me. She has got a lot of books in her bedroom, which she has bought in her whole life. So I don't spend any money for books.

books - i love to collect books.
the first book i read was bought by my mom for a book report.. it's one of sidney sheldon's novels. the next two books i've fallen inlove with were just given to me by my friends. the last 3 books i've read ... i bought them in a surplus shop. they were really cheap..like books were more than 50 percent discounted. and i am finishing the last book now... the horse whisperer. after i've read this one, i'm gonna buy another book to read. i haven't tried renting books.

I love to read and I love books and bookstores. I could go broke buying books --not really, I have more self-control than that! LOL I tend to buy most of the books I read. I will borrow a few from the city library. I also work at a school, so I have access to the school library, and do use it too. But, mostly I buy the books. I usually try to buy from half and ebay (to save money). I don't mind getting used books...they don't ahve to be like new. I really like to save money. I would gladly take a book that has a creased cover and possibly writing in it for one dollar than a newer, nicee version of the same book for $8. I also buy online from places like barnes and nobel and amazon if they are having a good special. One way I keep things in check is to read the book and then resell it on ebay. That way, I do make a little bit (sometimes all...sometimes more) of the money I spend back.

I am reading books only in the time of summer when it isn't any school. In the time in which i have classes among a year of study i don't read any book. So as i said i read books only in summer when i enough time to spare with my books. The place from which i get the books it's the school library and sometimes if i cant find the book i need at the library i ask my friends because some of them have the book that i need. Good luck!

Books - This is just one of my bookcases.
I do a combination. If there is a book that I know I am going to watn to read over and over again then I will buy it. I usually go to the used book stores first. I also go to the library frequently. My daughter is 8 and loves to read as well so we visit the library often to chekc out books for her, and while we are there I get some for myself. I also recently inherited a load of books from my Grandma so i am working my way through those. I will also trade books with my sister. Plus everyone who knows me knows that I am a huge reader so I tend to get books as gifts.

I used to buy books, but I've realized that it takes a toll on my budget. So what I do is borrow books from my friends and relatives. I read a lot so borrowing helps me save lots of money. However, I try to hunt down second hand copies (in very good conditon) of the books that I am very much interested in. As such, I can save money and still have a copy of the book I like. =)

One thing I do when it’s my rest day from work is reading. I sometimes buy books but most of the time, I go for ebooks. They cost me nothing. Hehehe.. I’m currently reading The Bourne Legacy. I’m a fan of The Bourne movies and this series if not yet made. And I’m a fan of spy novels of course. I also love Judith McNaught’s novels, book before The Bourne Legacy that I’ve read was from hers. I’m planning to download other books for Christmas. Sure thing I’m going to have more time for reading because of my leave in the office.

All of the books that I read are from the library. I usually go there once a week for my daughter. They have a lot of great programming for kids so while I'm there I always get a book for myself too.
