Think about this: Is there a time that you are not thinking about anything?

Okay, we've all been asked this question: What are you thinking about? We've all at some point responded with: "Nothing" Has there ever been a time in your entire life where you were actually not thinking about anything?

That's why I think I'd be bad candidate to be hypnotized. I don't know how to make my mind a blank. How do you stop thinking? Even if you tell your mind to stop thinking, you'd be thinking about not thinking. LOL. I would love to try meditation and see if that works.

He...i have heard about this from books and in one book , they have also said that making mind blank is also the first lesson in hipnotisation...is it true? how can we make our mind blank? They say that when we make our mind blank and see the mirror, we won't see our image it seems as our image will just dissappear when we make our mind blank....theer are many more things in life which have to be explored....isn't it? anyway's, it's all fascinating thaings in life..

I think that early in the morning, after I get out of bed and I'm hopping into the shower, there are moments where I am thinking about nothing. Other times, when I am at work early in the morning, staring at the computer screen, I am basically sleeping.
