Six Fingers in one hand

I was blessed with a daughter last year. And you know what, she has 4 fingers and two thumbs in her left hand. Lot of people have advised us to get her operated and get that extra thumb removed. My question is that is there anybody on this forum who has more than 5 fingers in their hands and if they have suffered in any way because of that. Please help me as i am in a dilemma as to what to do.
