"Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." John Lennon I have always loved that quote. I don't know if it's truly the best way to describe my life, but I thought of it when I read your question. I think it is applicable to a lot of us, though. In my own life, I used to think of things in terms of goals that I must reach, milestones I must achieve, in order to be... (happy, fulfilled, successful, or whatever word you want to fill in). Then I came to really understand that life is about the journey itself, and every single moment is not a celebration, but it is a blessing, and I am grateful for it all.
