DO YOU LOVE wwe?

WWE - In 2000, the World Wildlife Fund (also WWF), an environmental organization now called the World Wide Fund for Nature, sued the WWF. A British court agreed that Titan Sports had violated a 1994 agreement which had limited the permissable use of the WWF initials, particularly in merchandising.[4]

On Sunday May 5, 2002, the company quietly changed all references on its website from "WWF" to "WWE", while switching the URL from WWF.com to WWE.com. The next day, a press release announced the official name change from World Wrestling Federation Entertainment, Inc. to World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., or WWE, and the change was publicized later that day during a telecast of Monday Night RAW. For a short time, WWE used the slogan "Get The 'F' Out".[5] The company had also been ordered by court to stop using the old WWF Attitude logo on any of its properties and to censor all past references to WWF, as they no longer owned the copyrights to the initials WWF in 'specified circumstances'.[6]

In April 2002, about a month before the name change, WWE decided to create two separate rosters, one on RAW, the other on SmackDown! due to the overabundance of talent left over from the Invasion storyline (which involved talent from the absorbed ECW and WCW rosters interacting in WWF storylines). This is known as the WWE Brand Extension. Following the Brand Extension, a yearly Draft Lottery was instituted to exchange members of each roster and generally refresh the lineups.

On May 26, 2006, WWE revived Extreme Championship Wrestling as its third brand. The new ECW program airs Tuesday nights, on the Sci Fi Channel.[7]

I used to watch wrestling religiously when I was younger. I watch is casually now and keep up every so often. My dada watches it all the time. What do you think about TNA & Kurt Angle making the switch. Personally I think he's better there because Angle is a good wrestler and it seems TNA wants to make sure the actual wrestling (the physicality is there). They like wrestlers that can wrestle and not all about the character. What do you think?

I really used to be into the whole wrestling thing a few years back when Goldberg was really big. I would remember getting so pumped for the weekly show, and also would buy all the pay-per view showings. Me and my buddies would always get together, each chip in 5 bucks and enjoy the pay-per view and order some tasty pizza. Good ol' Bill Goldberg! Nothing beats his "spear"

I miss his Jackhammer! Rumors said that the reason why he leaved the WWE (just after the Wrestlemania XX) was because he did like what the WWE task on him against Brock Lesnar during the interpromotional match in the said bigges WWE PPV event.

I only like HHH and HBK for now..TNA is another good wrestling show..they are getting better better, WWE is more entertainning, but if you want to watch some serious wrestling matches, i recommand you to watch TNA

I am great fan of WWE even at this age of 25. I was wathching them right from my school days. My favourites are diesel, hit man, stone cold, My Man Batista(I adore him), Jhon cena and the ever stylish shawn michaels. Now a days i am getting a bit busy, so i couldn't watch it. Anything interesting going on. Batista got back the title? what happened to the survivor series?

I do not like the WWE, and is all because is such a fake "sport", if you can call it that! I am sure these guys work hard and get beat up a lot, but it just seems like an act. What i dont understand, is what liking the WWE has to do with who the owner is and what they do?
