How important is TV to your life?

Could you live without television? How much TV watching do you do? Is it on all day? It used to be that way in our house until we gave up cable, which we found to be too expensive. Now I rarely watch tv except a few favourites. How about you, could you give it up? Do you think people in the West watch too much television?

I watch very little television, so I would have no problem giving it up. I only really follow a couple of shows anyway.

i can as long as i got pc & isp, connects me to the outside world better.

Since we got rid of the cable we have been watching more DVDs too. Sometimes I get tapes from the libray on documentaries and other stuff that interests me. Thanks!
