Start a new job next week, looking for encouragement

Hey all!! I'm looking for encouragement for my new position. I will be doing accounting work, managing contracts and getting permits for a contracting company. I have never done the contracts and permits stff before, but have been a bookkeeping work for years. I;m very excited about all this, but would really like anyone's experiences, opinions, suggestions in this area. Thank you LOADS!!
