What is your favorite kind of type?

Do you like duct, electrical, masking, painters, celophane, double sided, etc.?
I personally think that duct tape is by far the most universal item in the world that can be used for anything. As an engineering student I have had the pleasure of using duct tape as a last minute solution to many many issues.

It all depends on what you are taping. But yes, duct tape is very versitle. It also makes a handy cup holder in a vehicle with out a center console on the floor. I've done this with great success. The glue that comes out from the side of the roll, prohibit the tape from moving on the carpeting.

That is a use I've never thought about. I generally hated it when the tape would get stuck to a table or something because of the glue on the side, but I never saw that as a use.
