I heard that if you take a milk bath that your skin will be soft and silky. With the winter here my skin is becoming more and more dry no matter how much lotion I use. Is this true? What is it? How much milk do you have to use?

well milk is good for the body on a whole... and yes it's good for your skin... but who is really going to dive into a tub of milk, lol try looking for moisture rich products.... like Dove u can exfoliate by using a beauty-stone... or there are bath/shower jels with exfoliants in them if you don't want to sit there scrubbing your skin with a rock

I do exfoliate, and I use a lotion with cocoa butter in it, but it doesn't seem to help me enough. I'm constantly washing my hands because I work at the hospital and they are very dry.

Milk bath powder can be purchased from The Body Shop here in Australia, specifically made for the purpose you want it for, and therefore more effective than standard milk in softening skin. What kind of moisturiser do you use? Have you tried Palmers Coca Butter? Or try a hemp based moisturiser- they dont smell the best but are fantastic for softening skin. Hope that helps...
