well did u keep check stubs or bank account statements, that can be proof, just make sure u keep copies of all that and send it to them, or if they took it out of ur tax return then keep copies of ur tax return, whenever u pay a large amount like that it's always ur responsibility to keep track u can't trust no one else to do that for u, keeping copies of money transactions is like a receipt for urself.

the courts dont allow you to pay child support by checks so i dont have a bank stment..an the court house has to be the one to contact the IRS.saying its paid..an now the courts tell me its out of their hands an its my problem .so deal with it...an i do have all of my receipts.but the clerks office want send anyone papers.that why i am so mad. thanks for your response ,your right about the money transaction ,

If you have all receipts that are officially from the courts photocopy them attatch to a letter copied and get an authority figure who can sign thing as a witness like a Justice of the peace here in Australia and sent them to someone working high up in the tax office and in the letter ask for a response. If that doesn't work recopy everything including the letter and send it to someone like a memeber of parliment. It is hard to tell you exactly who to send it too as I don't come from your country so I don't know the way things are set there. Good luck
