What's your favorite gift you've bought for someone for Christmas?

One year, I bought a huge Plecostamus (sucker fish) for my b/f for his new fishtank. 1st I put wrapping paper on the giftbox and lid separately, as well as the ribbon. I left just enough water in the bag for the fish to be comfortable and put it in the box. I took it over to his house and said "Here! You have to open it NOW. AND DON'T SHAKE IT TO SEE IF IT MAKES NOISE!" Oh, yeah. He was surprised. Aloha!

This gift led to a promise ring from my now husband. He had told me all he wanted for Christmas was to talk to his friend Jon who had moved away and we could not find him. He mentioned this a lot. So... I tracked down Jon and asked him to call my boyfriend at the time on Christmas Eve. He called while I was at his house and when he hung up the phone, he took me outside and gave me a promise ring, later followed by an engagement ring. It was a lot of work to find him, but he loved it and that made it incredible for me too. Great question!

My favorite gift I bought for someone was a pair of sneakers that my older son really wanted, and they were very expensive, but I figured I don't buy expensive items all the time so since it was Xmas I thought "why not."

my best friend collects 'Precious Moment' figurines....and i dont know why of all the thing, she would love PM as it's so expensive...both 2005 and 2006, i got her precious moment's figurines too...though it was expensive, but seeing the joy on her face made it worth every cent.

I think the cd that my husband wanted would be my favorite because it's what he wants for christmas.

hmmmmm.... i think nothing, because my family is not there, maybe they are here i buy a very special gift for them.

This year my favorite gift was teh one I bought for my grandma. I bought her a night shirt that is blue and penguins all over it. Some are ducking under water and othe rare just standing around.... I think it's so cute and I'm so happy my grandma likes it!
