Another word like crap....is conidered more of a cuss word than sh**. Crap seems so harmless. As far as using hell, I don't believe its the best choice, but at least you know the seriousness of what the person is saying. For me, its just a serious phrase...not cussing. What's your opinion on these words?

I usually go by whether or not the word is in the dictionary. If not, then it is probably a cuss word and if it is I don't care if it's considered a cuss word by most, they don't put them in the dictionary so I use it anyway.

Actually, they do put some cuss words in some dictionaries.

I don't consider 'crap' a cuss word, but my parent's didn't allow me to say it until I was in middle school. I would consider 'hell' a cuss word, though, unless the person was referring to the place.

I don't consider crap a cuss word. But hell, to me is depending on how it's used. But words like that don't bother me as much as other more offensive words like the f-bomb and the n word. And some words people use to call women.

They generally don't bother me as much as the "f word". That, to me, is the most offensive other than the "sh word". However, it mostly depends on who you're talking to and who you want to represent. When I work out at the gym, foul language is common. I just try to remember that not everyone has the same values that I have and to them that language might be normal.
