What is the best birthday you celebrated?

It would be a hard call on this one and is a toss up between my 21st and my 35th birthdays. For my 21st birthday my husband organised his leave so we could go north to celebrate with my parents and siblings. We had a quiet family day, bar-b-que at the beach but my birthday was basically a low-key affair because I had lost a sister the day before my 19th birthday and so it bought back all those memories for everyone. Still in an attempt to make it a special day for me, my husband bought me a present and a bouquet of 21 red roses. I didn't know it at the time but apparently when they were delivered there were only 20 in the bouquet so he madly rushed around my Dad's garden to find the extra one in the same colour. :) My 35th birthday was also special. Our son (then 10 years old) bought my a watch that year and he was determined to pay for it himself so he sold a couple of the calves he had reared to get the money. The jeweller (a friend of ours) kept trying to show our son some cheaper ones but son insisted that he had so much money to spend on Mum and that was what he wanted. :) I still have and wear that watch every day unless we are fishing or something like that then I take it off for safety reasons. I am one very lucky person to have such a special family.

I remember when I was in college, I was a member of youth group which used to do social work. I got involved so much, on my birthday, all the members of the group presented me with a brief case (in those days it was quite expensive one) and they arranged my birthday party. That is for rememberance for whole of my life.

it was whn my frnds surprised me by bringing bday cake at stroke of 12 and thn we were awake the whole night having fun

I'd have to say my 18th was the best celebrated, I was having a blast with my friends, drinking and partying, just have alot of fun.
