garage sales

I like going to them to see what other people don't want you know the saying "one man's trash is another man's treasure" I generally look for things I'll need for an apartment when I get one. Like salk and pepper shackers, decorations of any sort, I have found books a couple times.

I LOVE garage sales. I buy most of my children's clothing there. Think of it this way, my kids wear Nikes, Gap, Tommy, etc but I only pay about $1.00 an item. I know a few ladies who sell these items at their garage sale after their kids have worn them once or twice! I also find lots of new Yankee candles, adult clothing with tags still attached and an unbelieveable amount of art supplies for the daycare business. I just restrain from buying the unnecessary junk you sometimes see. I figure I can go shopping all day and spend $20.00. I would spend that much in the mall in about 5 minutes.

I seldom visit those places cause I don't that extra money for antiques:(

I look for candles, strawberry figurines, and dolhin figurines. I went to indoor garage sales this past saturday and this person was doing this drawing and I won apple's laptop for a dollar. It a old one and they dont make it anymore but it still works and it one of the best dollar my husband I spend if we are able to use this laptop!

If I am looking for something than I go to Garage sale.

When we lived in Tennessee we were only 10 miles from where the 400 mile yard sale went through. We went to part of it every year, but I can't say as how I ever bought much.

i donno, but i really hate going to such places

love going to stock yards,flea markets,yard sales,garage sales,thrift stores,etc....you can buy things that are new or in good shape for less money. Saves money for when you need it

car sales are for me
