Why are the models so thin and slim to look at???

Speakin in terms of fashion..Designs are made for the standard size and fit.Since these models are a standard they need to maintain that standard.Hence they are thin(or Standard).

to be frank with you these models wont have any other better work they waste their time in gym,exercise and so on this makes them look slim thats it..

think you will find a big difference coming in the next couple of years. they had a fashion show reciently where they took all the models out that looked like they had an eating disorder...lol

It's what society dictates. The modeling industry believes that to be thin is to be beautiful. Models try so hard to keep up to the standard to be able to survive so they do whatever they can eve though they have to suffer the consequences.

I've heard that the reason why most fashion designers choose slim and thin models, and not curvy models, is because clothes fit well to thin women. The models are like "clothes hangers," to put it more completely. But, I have to disagree with this idea because most models today look like a bunch of women who hasn't eaten in month. They don't appeal very much to me.
