is india the only place the cow is sacred. and why this animal is so reveered interest me. is it because its a constant source of food, or maybe a source of life. they seem to be well respected .are individual cows respected more than others????.what happens to a cow when it dies???

all animals should be respected .because cow is a food sourse i suppose i dont put a lot of thought into it.i enjoy my steak and if i was to look at it as a liveing creature it would take away the enjoyment and replace it with sadness.thats why its easier to shop at the butchers rather than kill the cow your self
