I have always prayed and I have been told that you have to go through the son to get to the father. What does this mean in your opinion? Can we not pray to God without saying in jesus name at the end? Please advise. Thanks

Being that I'm a Christian yes believe that the only way to get your prayers to the father you have to go through the son. It says it in the Bible that no one can come unto the father except through the son. What you have to remember about prayers is that God answers our prayers that are prayed sincerely. But what we pray for my not be exactly what we get. God knows what we need and that's what he gives us.

sometime he listens and some time he don't. actually hard work is equal to prayer. so if you are really hard working for something god will listen to you.

I think God do listen to our prayers. He gives us exactlly what we are looking for, but you need to know how to use it. Also god does justify our prayer and grant exactlly as much we acctually need. He loves us and loves us all equally.

Prayers are positive assertions and when our belief in that omnipotent power we call GOD deepens, they seep deep into our very powerful subconcious mind and which strives to fulfill the needs. And the very interesting thing is that we don't have to search for the God that created us. Because he dwells inside us. Prayer is listening to your heart. Then you are faced with the INFINITY. And the INFINITY gives us as much as we believe in it - not an iota more, not an iota less. Have You read 'Gitanjali' the Nobel laureate Rabindra Nath Tagore: Here is an excerpt from that Excellent work: I had gone a-begging from door to door in the village path, when thy golden chariot appeared in the distance like a gorgeous dream And I wondered who was this King of all Kings! My hopes rose high and methought my evil days were at an end, And I stood waiting for alms to be given unasked And for wealth scattered On all sides in the dust. The chariot stopped where I stood. Thy glance fell on me and Thou camest down with a smile. I felt that the luck of my life had come at last. Then of a sudden thou didst hold out thy right hand and say, "What hast thou to give to me?" Ah, what a kingly jest was it to open thy palm to a beggar to beg! I was confused and stood undecided, and then from my wallet I slowly took out the least little grain of corn and gave it to thee. But how great my surprise when at the day's end I emptied my bag on the floor to find a least little gram of gold among the poor heap. I bitterly wept and wished that I had had the heart to Give thee my All. --Tagore.

Jesus is mediator between God and man that`s why we pray through his name. Moreover He says when we pray,we should pray in His name. Please read the book of John`s gospel for better understanding.

Not only does God listen to my prayers, He answers them. Sometimes, if I listen carefully, I can hear the still, small voice giving me an answer. Other times I may have to wait a little longer. And sometimes He just plain says no.

I haven't prayed forever. But, when I was growing up, I prayed straight to the God. No one told me that wasn't so.
