HI Homeopathic medicines are safe and will not have any adverse effects on the baby.Homeopathic medicines given after detailed case taking increase the resistance of the mother during pregnancy and make her less vulnerable to infections. During labour, homeopathic medicines bring about good contractions, minimising the need for caesarean section, provided other parameters are normal.

Hi, Very few of them are aware of this. But my gynaecologist was very much in favour of Homeopathy as she was my brother's patient. He had treated her for 'Radiculopathy'.

homeopathy definatly helps during pregnancy and labour e.g. in hypemesis gravidarum (Nausea & Vomiting during pregnancy) remidies such as ipcac, nux-vomika, pulsatila etc give very remarkable relief to the pregnant lady without any side effect which other medicines ofen cause similarly dureing prolonged labour or where pains are insuffcient and patient is in very much distress homoeopathic medicines like caulophyllum, pulsatilla, cimicifuga do help. but u need to consult an experienced homoeopath for that.
