I would like to request if you can posts a message that is so easy to understand. Do not use "deep words" in your sentence. So that not only your fellow country can reply but also to those came from other country. Were not came from same places as you know that. Some got annoyed because as you noticed their answer is in 2-3 phrases only like, "i don't know" or "ok". Its maybe because one such reason is they don't understand much in your grammar. Be considerate to other races also. Specially to NEW COMERs in here. I noticed also that few from other country (like INDIA,Philippines,Pakistan,China) are visiting mylot. Maybe because for this reason.

It's a good idea but I don't think it's ever going to happen. First of all, a lot of people are here that can speak and read English but just want to make fast money. Also, if someone does not speak English they should not bother to try to post here or they should use an online translator. Personally I would never attempt to join a forum in another language. I would be frustrated.

Just for the record, it does not bother me if I see someone adding their opinion even if they don't speak English well. If it's well thought out, I can usually figure it out.

the English language is definitely not a reason for lack of other races on mylot. since we tend to have more English speaking people than any other people in the world, then places like mylot will tend to have more English speaking people. also most people from other countries cannot speak the english language thoroughly and they tend to keep away from places like mylot.

Very well written post. I agree to your point. I think people must consider other people's knowledge and try and use more common words then typical ones.

I understand your commentary but it is also interesting to note that verb and noun placement in a sentence is part of that Grammar and that the Adjectives and Adverbs when found in the parts of a sentence by there placement make the sentence mean different things. Merry Christmas!!

I sometimes have a hard time using smaller less complex words so that person from other countries can understand them. I get very irritated when I get responses of "I don't know" If you don't know or haven't seen the movie or read the book or whatever, don't post please. I work with mostly Philippino people and often have to find different words or explain what I meant to them. I thought that people from other countries didn't come here because they can't use Paypal.

I was only thinking of something like this to-day. There are people from all over the world who are registered on MyLot but they do not understand the English language, with the reslult, they will use a one worded comment after each post. I don't know if simplifying our dialogue will change any of the comments from these people, but I suppose we should give them a fighting chance. Good topic!

Good suggestion! I am from China, and I can understand most of the discussions while some of them with "deep words" as you say really give me some troubles. I would not post a response if I can't understand it. I think some 2-3 phrases answers may not be posted by the memembers from other county. some memembers give short answers only for more points. I like mylot. I can find the topics I am interested in, post a response to give my viewpoint, also get some earnings at the same time! It's great!!

It could be that they really don't know. I'm a new comer, I had no idea we got points, I was in here because of a 10 year old neighbor showing me something I really like and what I like is discussions and sometimes answering them. LOL I love writing in a deeper perspective, it gives me practice, although there are times I am tired and I make typo errors. But I do try to write in phrases that everyone can understand. Or - at least I think I do xoxox

english grammar for everyone - english grammar for everyone
what if they really speak that way? if it's a quality discussion or comment, why not, i don't see anything wrong with that, in fact it's also a way for those who can't speak english very well to learn the language.
