well i guess the biological answer would be to pump blood but for me i feel it beats to assure us that you are full of life and live this life heartly

one, you can only know that your heart is beating. in case if it stops, you wont even be here to realise if it is still beatin or not. ok ok.. dont kill me now. two, it tells you that time is running away, enjoy your life to the fullest.
