Money For Christmas!!!!!!!!!!

my mother in law gave my husband and I $500 to help for Christmas, now we have a baby on the way and I wont get paid for being off, we will be ok but I thought we should save this money just in case MY HUSBAND on the other had wants to get an XBOX 360 see we have two boys and they all even me like to pay video games so what should we do??????????????

Is there a way to use some of the money and save some? I would sit down and talk it over some more before buying any big items-you never know when you'll need it if you'll be off work for some time. Maybe he would compromise for a lesser priced game system?? I always find the deals on the systems that have been out a few years

Well we dont have any X box system so i would guess that the older one is no to much maybe we can get the older one and save the rest! Thanks for your help!

Saving money is a good thing, but it is Christmas and as long as you are going to be ok I think you should let your husband and chidlren get the XBox, there is only one Christmas each year, splurge and enjoy!
