Police forces are hoping to use YouTube to fight crime. In Ontario, they're starting small clips of surveillance video that cops posted to the immensely popular video-sharing site in hopes of appealing to witnesses who might help them catch a killer. This is a great move. Instead of fighting it, authorities especially in crime should use the potential of Youtube and other popular social networking sites to catch criminals. It is much like a Internet-version of cops but the capacity to reach a wider audience.

Online video is one of the high growing issues in Internet. It's popularity is increasing. Everyone today is hanging to show his business, activities whatever they do in video format through Internet. Why no Police? They are to take care of us. They are also social. And using videos they can expedite their investigation to catch the criminal.
