I like to think of myself as a decent human being...

Like I said, I think of myself as a decent human being. But somedays I really wonder. There is a fine line between selfishness and selflessness. What motivates most people in life...lets be honest...is ones own person greed. Now there isn't anything wrong with this to a point. But the "what is in it for me factor" exists in all of us. Even if we are doing what we are doing for the betterment of all, there is a personal motivating factor of selfishness behind it. Now...whether you agree with me or not on this, I really don't care. Reason being it tomorrow I will probably change my mind about how I feel on this topic. But today, right now, this is where I'm at. So...I'm going to get a Diet Coke. I'm thirsty. Think about the above line I wrote and how it applies to what I just wrote. Geez somedays I completely make no sense!

I think it is to say, in referrence to your topic...that the majority of today society is stuck in the "Me-Me phase". Because in some people's point of view...it is all about me and me....not you.
