Some people say that money is not everything in the world?

Is this really true. I know that you can be happy in love family friends and the likes. But honestly, some of these things could be lost without having money. Husbands and wives fight about money as friends would do. Money can really buy almost everything. People even do crazy things for the money. So do you think in a person's life money is a major thingy right?

Thank you for your response. People do sometimes make money everything because they really do not have almost everything. They may have love but they don't have money. So they must do everything to earn money. In our country, they leave their families in order to go abroad and earn money. They love their small little children, but they have to sacrifice that to earn money and buy almost everything that their child needs for their daily living. So they sacrifice their presence to be with their children as they grow up just to earn dollors abroad. Sad but definitely true.

Money is not everything. Health, love and family are much more important. I used to be self employed and was a successful businessman and was making a lot of money. I then became very sick and have never recovered from the disease that made it so I could not work any more. I would give just about anything to be healthy and be able to work again. Five years ago my doctors told me I only had three years to live. But what helped me a lot more then money was love and support from my family and friends. I would have never recovered without them. Yes, lack of money causes stress in our lives. But we are happy and content with what we have. Which is being still alive and have a great and loving family.

I believe that. When one has more many that he can handle, he has problems on how to handle it or even where to spend it or invest it. There is truth in the saying that people who are very rich have problems where to put their money. They have dillemas where to spend it or where to invest it, and sometimes where to hide it. Would you rather have their problems? Boy, what hard problems they have right? Thank you for your responses and God bless!

I think money is pretty much everything in the world. How would you feel if you didn't have money?

Thank you for your response. At least from the other persons, you have admitted the fact that money is really pretty much everything in the world. It may not be everything but its pretty much everything that it can buy for us in our lives. It is surely hard if you did not have money.

Some of the happiest people I have ever known have had barely enough money to meet their bills. It's not about what you have in the bank -- it's about what you have in your heart. If you are a bitter person no amount of money can make you happy. If you have a good attitude, you can be content no matter your financial state.

That may be true. But some of the people I know are very happy because they live comfortably in their lives. They have five cars and they go to the grocery without a list or budget. They always advise me that I should save while I am still young because you don't want to grow old without money. It is hard to be old and without money. So contrary to what others say about rich people, I have been with rich people and they are very content with their money and vowed never to live poor and old with out money. These are the facts of life and we have to accept that. It is not a sin to be poor, but you won't have to die poor because it means you did not do anything in your life to raise yourself up from being poor.

Thank you for your response. That may not be true in most cases. Love sometimes fade out when the stomanch gets hungry. If that were true then maybe we would have few divorce cases and prenup would not exist in the dictionary. Even before people make their vows, the paper that says my money is my money and your money is your money, in the event that we break up, I keep what was originally mine and you keep what was originally yours. Now that's an interesting piece of paper to sign before saying your vows of love!

I would like to add that being rich will not make you happy. I will use Andrew Carnagie was the wealthiest person who lived. He built his business by walking on peoples backs. Not caring who he distroyed on his way up. In his latter life re realized what he had done. Do you think that he became a great philanthropist because he just wanted to give his money away? No! It is because he felt very guilty over all the people he distroyed. He built great museums, music halls and libraries as penance.

That could be true that he may not be happy. People are sometimes never contented with what they have. HAving said that point, could you count how many people would like to be in Carnagie's shoes rather than their life now? People like them are just a handful who are very rich and got bored with their lives. I know this person who had money at age 18. He had a company with four branches. At a young age he was able to earn money, much money that could be handled by a teenager. He was too young and a workaholic. He had a lot of friends at his side because he loved to treat people out. Yes he was very happy and he could buy all the things he wanted. Later on his company went bankrupt and he was in debt. He was very sad and frustrated. He lost his money. So now he is recovering again and wants to go back to the way he was then. When that happens he would know what to do and stay there at that state. He told me that when he was young, he asked the lord to give him all the love problems but never give him problems with money. The lord gave him that at age eighteen. When he had the money, he asked the lord to trade what he wanted for love. The lord gave him love but he lost his money. Now he is praying that he would rather have the money than love. I find that very intriguing. So I guess sometimes money could be everything. But its nice to have both love and money.

I think money plays a most important role from the very beginning of a person's life so In my opinion its totally wrong to say that money is not everything in the world as its not so true these days as every one related to you gets happy when you have wealth and power.

Those people who love your wealth and power, are not your real well-wishers. They are just after your money. they will not stand by you when you find yourself in difficulties.

Money is not everything in this world. You need it to function, pay bills, food and so on. Money is needed for the necessities in life but does buy happiness? Nope.

Money can't buy everything. It can't buy true love. It is a necessity as buying our basic needs goes. But there are many people who have very little and they are richer than the billionaires of this world.

Yes, money is a major necessity in this life and yet it cannot be everything in this word. You need money to take care of yourself and loveones. But you cannot but love with money.

Actually you have hit the point of my discussion. I do know for a fact that it is not everything but it is really a lot to do with everything in this world. It is really hard to love, support the family and do a lot of things without it.

Money is the major thing agreed, but money is not everything, money cannot buy love, good health, peace of mind, happiness there are lot of things money cannot buy, with little money also you can survive but without the above mentioned any one thing then it is not worth living

Sometimes money can buy us good health. Without money, we cannot buy nutritous and quality food. We even need money to sustain our health through medicines and vitamins. In the case of peace of mind, money can give us peace of mind and security. If you had enough money, you would feel secured for yourself and your family. Sometimes even money can buy us love. If we support a certain individual for all his needs he would then love us in return. If we are a good provider for our family then we are loved by them. Have a nice day! Merry Christmas and have a happy new year to you and your family!

I do agree that family friends and love are important too, but sometimes without money, or the loss of money sometimes breaks up family friends and even lovers. They even fight about this in divorce cases.

Thank you for your response. Money may not be everything, but if your bank manager tells you that you ran out of money already then I guess that would bother you too much right?

Yes yes its true. I really believe that eventhough the world is full of money, still, it can't buy all that is in this mysterious world. I still have the very expensive stuff that money can't buy: my love to the persons and things i love and the love for God.

Money might not be everything in the world but it sure does make things easier. We are very stressed over our money situation at the moment and if we can survive the next couple of years of debt we will be just fine financially.

ya its true that when family there is no need of money but thinking in a practical manner its necessary to have a money in life to fulfill ur requirements. There are Pros and Cons of money but its necessary in life.people fight for money to fulfill his or her requirements.Which is cons of money.
