Islam vs Christianity

hi there! i am a muslim..what i understand about jesus is that He is a Prophet to us..one of the messenger of GOD..if you heard people saying i don't believed in Jesus,pls ask them why for you to know is their idea of Jesus..it's in our QUR"AN..stated that Jesus is a Prophet..so we do respect! those people are saying and who don't believed,perhaps,they have less information about ISLAM..peace be with you always..

Actually this question shouldn't be asked because even though Islam or Christianity or Buddhism or any other religion or vocation are distinct in their beliefs it should not be the cause of conflicts. The Main WORD that we should always put in our minds is RESPECT. I'm a Catholic but I have the utmost respect on other people's religions/vocations.

Sounds to me the quaran is one big book of Lies written by satan himself...since he is a great deciever just look at how many followers he has now.. Yes the devil would like nothing more than to say that Jesus was not Crucified saving all mankind from their sin and ripping the keys of hell from him. The devil would like you to believe that Jesus is not the son of God....ofcoarse the devil was soo blind to what was going on that he didnt even know that Jesus Is God in all fullness as it is written. Lucifer would like you to believe that Jesus did not die and then raise again and ascend into glory and he would like you to think Jesus did not return as the Holy Spirit infilling all who believe in Jesus. And Jesus will return and meet us in the air as it is writen. God is true and His words are true. the quaran is a book of lies written by liars and theives of lost poor souls who need Jesus and not the devils book of deceptions. it is writen if any man add to the book that is writen they shall be cursed with the plagues of the earth. it is written let no man preach any other gospel than which has been preached by christ and the apostles. let them be acursed even if it is an angel of heaven. as i kow in ALQURAN muslim (bible) said yes true never know jesus BUT they call him "ISA" and in ALQURAN said ISA first GOD will coming again in this earth to JUDGE everyone.if i not wrong,but they know ISA=JESUS.

islam is authentic religoin in this world,muslims beleives in jesus but jesus was not HIS son, as in older times, son stands for the slaves.it is also mention is bible:jesus said: God is my father and the father of jews is devil. if son means real son then it should also be beleived that devil is father of jews,but certainly it is notlike that.son doesnt mean the actualy son,he was a slave of Allah.if u still confused.let me know

Quran-e-paak is only book today which is in its pure and real form, all other books have got changes according to the scholars of the religions that they belong to. I know you can't get it today but if you take the real bible than you'll find it different from the one today.

Allah states in Sura-e-Ikhlas In the name of Allah The Beneficent, the Merciful. Say: He is Allah, the One! Allah, the eternally Besought of all! He begetteth not nor was begotten. And there is none comparable unto Him. A short summary of this would be, Allah has no relative nor he is relative of anyone. So this is another proof that Hazrath Essa SAW are not the son of Allah. Mmmm, yes to answer john1984, the Muslims believe the original Bible has been "edited" by human hands. The Muslims believe Jesus was a prophet, a human being. I'm not gonna argue about this, there are too many topics on this already. Still, who cares. Muslims love and respect Jesus, he still a prophet for Muslims, like Abraham, Moses and Muhammad.

Islam is a religion of Peace, AS u said that Jesus is a son of God, i dont agree with you He is a messenger of God to the humanity And also you said that Muslims belive on old testimonials, the reason is that we have our one and only Holy Quran which was sent to us by God(ALLAH) through His last Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H). I think that Muslims believe parts of the Bible. However, they never read it and no one taught them what it says. I think they only believe because the Quran and their teachers tell them to. It's so hard to make much sense of the Quran because it contradicts itself. I guess it's easy for them to believe as long as they do what they are told and never question the Quran which they believe are words from God. Just like in many other cults that have twisted the Bible so some man can be worshiped instead of Jesus.

You are wrong. Muslims only believe in the ISt 5 books of Bible, that too with some changes. But they do not believe any other books of Bible including the 5 books of New Testament as you mentioned. Jesus is the Son of God as prophesied in the Old testament also. In New Testament there are many instances where Jesus himself declare him as the Son of God. Islam believes only in God. They do not believe in Jesus. If they do not believe let them not. It is our luck that we got a chance to believe Jesus who is also called as Emmanuel means - GOD WITH US.

Muslims believe in the Quran, Christians in the Holy Bible. There's no way to merge these two books. It's up for people to choose which they would like to believe in and follow or obey. The servants of God are there to preach the Word of God and if a Muslim (Islam is the religion) hears the Word and obeys, then he turns his back against Islam and embrace Christianity. He can never be a believer of Islam and Christianity at the same time. I keep on saying God does not compel people to believe Him so let people believe in what they believe. Very interested discussion. Jezus is in both, Koran and Bible a prophet. But in the Quran he is just a normal prophet and the bible describes him as the son of God. Mohammed is the prophet, and the son of god in the Quran.
