I believe in God as well and well he is one that does not force himself on anyone but waits patiently for them to come to him. My friends no I am a Christian and I do invite from time to time to church but I do not shove God down their throats because I know he wouldn't want it.

I don't believe in God. Please tell me what evidence you have for God? Out of all the God's ever mentioned in any religion, how do you know which is the right one? If God created the universe, what created God? If God was already there, then why can't the same be said for the universe?

Many questions, and as I am not all knowing I cannot answer them for sure. Here are my thoughts: My faith as a Christian comes from belief in the bibles accuracy - if you look at all the faiths, the bible is the only book which makes numerous historical references, takes a heavily narritive style, and was written by many authors. Many other religions read from a book created by 1 man, and claim it real history. It's important to take each one and examine it as a historical document - would I have any good grounds for taking this as an accurate document? We now believe the universe is not a steady state one but had a beginning, so something must have been there before the universe. As for who created God, if God is outside the universe, there is no measure of time, so a creator is not needed. A universe where time begins requires a creator as something must have started that time. A timeless creator does not require a pre-creator, as the concept of things coming into existence requires a timeframe, which we don't have with the Christian God.
