Have you got Intel Core 2 Duo Processor ..how is its performance?

I am deciding to buy a Intel Core 2 Duo Processor next week,because my old processor has been worn out..before buying it ,i would to ask my friends..what do you feel of this processor,is its performance good

I have been thinking of buying a Intel core 2 duo but I probably wont. B able to afford one for the next few months.

as we know that intel processor are more faster and less heat...but one thing i notice is intel core duo geneate more heat...copare with p4.
i don't know? i am a amd supporter, all the while i am using amd , now i am using amd64

buddy,my friend bought intel core processor for about $300,he says its performance is better than AMD
