I just want to apologize that I didn't have participation to any discussions and even posting a comment as an answer to what I've posted. You see since the last time I was here in mylot our place was encountering such calamities; the typhoon that struct the region made it difficult for me.The electrical power always on and off causes some of my communication unit encountered some problems. In the region next to us hundreds of people died and even burried in mud, their houses is being flushed with flood. It so horrifying and sad witnessing this kind of tagedy.I have a question:What is the causes of this? Is this a punishment?

Yea, heard about the Durian Typhoon in the news. Sad and tragic. :( I hope that the victims would stay strong. It really worries me thinking about these catastrophe, just like recently a quake just struck the northern part of Sumatra, again. Whether it is a punishment or not, this is the time to help each other in any way we can. Be strong.

Dont consider it as punishment. Its just that there are times that HE put us to test and see if we can still stand up. If worst things happen it will surely be followed by best things. Cheer up!

Anyone that is a believer in the Bible, and Jesus, to me this speaks more of what is to come. Just like in the Book of Revelations there is going to be much destruction in the last days. We lost Power here due to Severe Wind storms, so I can relate with not being able to be online, etc. Just Praise God for what you do have, and know you made it thru. That is about all we can do.

I don't really think natural calamities are a punishment from God. They may hold some lessons in their occurrence, but they're not exactly punishments because its always a mixture of good and bad people that have to suffer it. As for staying out for these days, of course there's no problem cuz now that you're finally back, you can still visit my profile nad respond to all my discussions! ;)
