If you knew a family member was in financial problems would you give them money to help them out? I have a family member that would never ask for help financialy but I would like to help them out. Would you expect them to pay it back? I am not talking about a great deal of money. Do you think they would find it to be a disgrace to accept the money? Thanks for the replies.

Whenever a family memeber is in need, I do my best to help them out if I have something to give. It wouldn't expect them to pay me back because they're family. Some people would think that's disgrace, but if they need it bad enough, they'll probably take it.

Thank you for the response. I would think the same but hate to see them suffer in the mean time.

Great to know people are so giving and still believe in helping family. May you and your Family have a Blessed Christmas.

Yes I certainly would if I am in the Position to No I would not expect them to pay it back at all and if you give it to them the right way say like a Gift then I don't think they will see it as a Disgrace

How would you give it to them without them knowing and saying I really can't accept this? I have a family member who feels bad just because she can't afford gifts for my family. We told her a phone call is more than anything. Thanks for the response.

Well If I myself were able to help finincially I would, and no I would not expect it to be paid back because that was something I choose to do on my own accord, if they offered to repay it I would tell them no need but if it would make you more comfortable in taking it then sure. But now that is it the Holiday season you can sneek attack them and give it to them as a Christmas gift, that way they cant refuse it!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ya

Thanks for the response. It's great to know that people are still about family and helping others out. I often wonder how many people get into situations where they are homless or without food. Is it because they have no family to turn to or have they done something so wrong there families have disowned them. A Merry Christmas to you as well.
