Are you conscious of your complexion? What do you do or what do you use for your skin, especially your face?

Do you use natural ones? Do they have perfume in them?

Water - Water is the best thing for beautiful skin. It works from within.
I wash my face every morning and every night. I also use a moisturiser every day and every night. At the moment I use Olay in the morning, with SPF 15+ and Avon Renew at night (it was a gift). I also use eye cream - Garneir Lift day and night. But the best beauty trick is to drink between one and two litres of water every day.

I think it is very important to take of our complexions. I cleanse, tone, moisturise twice a day. At night I use a night cream, that is great, it is not greasy or anything. I exfoliate and use a mask 3x per week. All this might sound like a lot but it takes me about 5min twice a day. Different products suit different people better. It took me quite a while before I found the one for me. I won't change in a hurry. Also, I am careful when I go in the sun, I use a very high factor sunblock. This sounds like I am very vain, but I don't think I am, I love to get down in the garden and feel the soil, getting my hands dirty. Hope all this helps for you.

My mom has just come into the room to ask what is going on at Mylot. I told her about your discussion. She is adamant good complexions are in the genes. My grandmother who lived until she was 96yrs had a lovely complexion and all she used was soap. There were no beauty aids available. She lived in the UK all of her life, so I think maybe the climate helped.

Like the heart, stomach, and brain, your skin is an organ. In fact, it's the largest organ in your body, but it's still easy to take skin for granted. Unless there's a problem, you may not think about your skin very much. But skin has an important job to do. Your skin is constantly protecting you. Your skin keeps infections out of your body and keeps you from getting sick. When you take care of your skin, you're helping your skin do its job. And taking care of your skin today will help prevent future problems, like wrinkles and even skin cancer.

I have an extra dry skin so I use extra moisturizer for my skin. I regularly use ponds facial wash when I get up and before I go to bed. I also go to derm clinic every 6 months for facial. It's pretty cheap here because we have a discount. I also sometimes apply ponds whitening on my face. Not very often though because I feel like my skin gets sooo thin and delicate. I prefer most of the time just a facial wash for my face.

Probably not nearly as much as I should. I use mostly the Oil of olay products which I think are pretty good. They don't cost a lot and a recent consumer test said they were actually better than the pricey stuff that costs ten times more.

Facial fitness is an exercise regimen that involves working out the muscles of the face to prevent them from sagging. It works on the same principle that if we exercise the muscles of our body, then the muscles will become toned and the skin will visibly improve. The muscles of the face also need to be exercised. If they are let alone, they just sit there on our faces, lengthening and thinning as the years come upon us, giving us that sagging and tired look as we age. With the facial fitness regimen, the facial muscles undergo resistance training, and the skin is pulled and pushed so the muscles are contracted. Eventually, the skin is lifted with all the pushing and pulling, taking away the sags and smoothing out the wrinkles from our faces. Another benefit of undergoing a facial fitness regimen is that making the muscles of the face contract increases blood circulation to the face. With improved blood circulation to the face, more oxygen and nutrients are brought to the cells and tissues of the facial muscles and skin. Therefore, it would look healthier and whatever damages that our facial tissues have sustained are more easily repaired. Having a regular facial fitness routine brings us a natural face lift. With a natural face lift, we do not have to undergo surgery just to keep ourselves looking young. The power to look young has become literally in our hands.

Ye I am conscious of my complexion- beauty begins with having clear skin and it can totally ruin a persons looks. I cleanse and moisturise every morning then I take off my make-up with cleansing wipes every night. Every week I give myself a home facial which involves cleansing, using a face scrub, using a face mask and then moisturising. I also drink loads of water which I think makes a big difference to my skin.

I try to be. But I get lazy. I love how my face feels when I wash it every night & then make sure to wash it each morning. The most important element to me anymore it seems is face lotion. Otherwise I use products for acne/blackheads, clearing type of things to wash my face with. Doesn't really matter to much the brand as long as it works well on my face after trying it. Cause you have to try it to see if it works.

I cleanse tone and moisturise every morning. I do the same in the evening but replace moisteriser for night cream. I us a facial scrub about 3x week, and a face mask 1 - 2 x per week. I use the Maria Garcia range which has been on sale lately for 50% off, so I was able to stock up. I also use a hand cream daily, 1 x week I put hand cream in my hand then add 2tsp sugar and rub in well. Then rinse and add more handcream, rub in well. Hands come lovely and soft. Hope you have a good day!
