if u go in week ends r outing u like to give tips in restaurant....is it correct r wrong.......

Yes I give tips in restaurant. And I feel its not at all wrong in giving tip. Whenever we go to a restaurant do we serve ourself? no,we don't and do we get our order ourself? no we don't. The waiter does all the work for with a lot of care and respect. He/she deserves to be rewarded with some money because they are not paid high. With tips at least they can have an extra income with which again they can go to any other restaurant.

Ya they are paid, but the wages they get for their work is not sufficient for them to even buy their children a pair of shoe in today's world. Now a day's everything has become so costly. Even quality education costs high. If one expects his children to have good education then the only thing he should have is MONEY. So I feel we should give them tips and for any worker whom u think his montly wages are not sufficent to lead his family life,help by giving some amount as gift.

I give tips only if the service is good or the food is good ..it is only your self satisfaction if you are happy you give tip..similar to a birthday where you give treat because you r happy...

Ya I do .... but in some resturants the owners/managers restricted their vaiters to get the tips, thats why some time we avoid to give the tips.
