How Do You Make Your Small Children Take a Nap

Good question. I have a 2-year-old that rarely naps. The only way I can get her to go to sleep during the day is putting her in the car and driving her around. That only works about 50% of the time.

I never made my kids take a nap. But we just had a ritual that could cause them to take a nap. ha ha Each day, we would have lunch and then settle down together watching a movie. It was the combination of being full, curled up with mom, and sitting still to watch a movie that did it. But I couldn't make it a movie they would be too interested in. Or they would not fall asleep. So I made it something I was more interested in. :) But if they didn't fall alseep, I wouldn't get upset. They would sleep when they needed to or I would keep them awake later so they would go to bed on time....if not, a little bit earlier. LOL

I have Grand-twins and I have no problem putting them to sleep they are 5 mos. old. eat, sleep that's what they do.

I don't have a problem with my Grand-twins. they eat sleep with no problem they ar 5 mos now.

When My daughter turned 4 we stopped making her take a nap. however before that she would get into my reclining chair and take her nap
