Need real advice

I recently found out that I was pregnant. I know most of the people will have something negative to say because of my age but don't judge me if you don't know me. I am very different from most girls my age who get pregnant. I am an honor student in school and I don't want this to affect my chances of getting into college. I want to get a job to assume a little responsibility. My boyfriend has a job and I think I need to get one also, but my mom told me no. Any advice?

I honestly think that putting the child up for adoption would be the best route to go. I feel you girl...I really do. But, if you are set on going to college, and you are unable to get a job, then the best thing for that baby will be to be put with a family that will be able to provide for him and love him, as you create a stable life for yourself, and any subsequent children. Consider open adoption if you would like to still see your child, or at least have some contact. If you think that would be too hard for you and everyone else involved, look at closed adoptions. Good luck in whatever you choose to do!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I take it you are keeping the baby? Otherwise, you could probably put it up for adoption? Or can your parents help you raise it? What exactly is your question? Are you asking if you should get a job?
