Where I am currently staying, today, the temperature is between -1 to 4C. I went delivering paper this morning (at about 9.30am). If I am not wrong, the temperature then was at about 2-3C. Bbrrr.. it was very cold. I ponder, in the car, over what I should be wearing whist walking from house to house during paper deliveries. Should I wear a winter coat I brought along or just the 3 layers of long sleeves shirt I had on then. At the end, I decide to leave the winter coat in the car and did my job wearing only the 3 layers of long sleeves shirts. Boy, initially, it was freezing. My hands and face were exceptionally cold!!! After some walking, my body heated up and was not too cold, however, my face frozed, my fingers too. So, I put on my gloves, which helped a little.. But my face was still exposed!!! After about half-an hour, I greeted someone who was coming out from her house in the cold morning. To my surprise, my voice croked and I notice my cheeks jammed up.. The morning and Christmas greeting want wrong.. lol.. It was embarrasing!! lol.. I even laugh at myself. Anyway, I would be delivering papers some more next week and the week after that.. The weather here is only getting colder on each passing day. What would you advice me? Should I be wearing the winter coat the next time I do this delivery? How should I protect my face? I thought of a face(ski)mask, but can you imagine someone walking up your door steps wearing a face(ski)mask? I bet it would scare the hell out of the house occupants.. lol.. So, advice me pls.. Thank you :)

lol.. thank you for your kind and well wishes. I do paper delivery once every week as it is a weekly paper. The pay is lousy, but I need the cash, badly.. so any work would do! it is an honest living after all, ya? lol.. Well, what can I say, I sent our so many applications, but none came back. Not even for an interview :'(

Hey, I am not complaining.. I am looking for some solution to face this cold.. and yes, I know it will be getting colder.. That is why I am seeking advice on how to get my job done.. lol.. Anyway, thank you for your advice on the coat and scarf thing. I wonder if I would sweat if I were to wear a coat and scarf.. It would not do me any good to sweat as the moment I stop walking, it would not do me good, healthwise.. :\
