WHY COULDN'T GOD JUST FORGIVE?

there have always been some objections to the substitutionary death of Christ. Is not God all-powerful? Is not God all-loving and able to pardon sin without requiring sacrifice? Why cant he simply forgive sin out of His mercy? Could not an all-powerful God, in His omnipotence, have redeemed the world as easily as He created it? Since God commands man to forgive freely, why does He Himself not freely forgive? of course i know the answers to these questions, but what about you?? ..squallmario

He did forgive he sent his only begotten son to die for our sins, he had to show us how to forgive by allowing his son to suffer. God didn't want us to suffer so he offered a way for us to repent for our sins so he could forgive us right? Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins AMEN.

First of all i don't want to hurt your feeling. AS a muslim i believe Christ was not crusified. And for the second question God says he forgives men If they ask for forgivness from deepness of their heart

If God accepted sin without penalty, would He be perfect? It would put Him in a position of choosing evil. Everything has to be in balance. He is a God of justice. Fortunately for us, He chose to take the penalty Himself.
