A mother didn't know her baby had something in her mouth for over a month

A news article on channel 10 here in Australia just ran a story about the mother who left a metallic sticker stuck in her 18 moths old mouth and the skin grew over it. Doctors had to surgically remove it. All she got was basically a good behavior bond. I think she should have gotten more. What do you think.
