Well I'm not working anywhere now except for helping my husband with his business some, but yes his business is important to me
and the job I had before was important to me too. I didn't always enjoy it but it was important me to do a good job.

To do a good job where you are employment is not equal the career. I think the career is important for somebody if his life is his job. If he speaks a lot about his job even in his private life. When he wants to reach more and more in his job, even if he has not time for his private life. For example I may work more at another company for more money,but I chose the less money so that I can spend much more time with my son and in my household. And I have a lot of free time to do my things.

My work is important to me in many ways. By being a nurse, I feel I am helping people which gives me warm fuzzys! It builds self-esteem to feel you are doing something worthwhile. By continuing to read and be educated on new developments I build my self-confidence. In many ways it is almost a spiritual experience too. And lastly, yes, I am paid for it, but that is the least of the rewards!

In my next life I will be a nurse or some similar.
When I was young my mother persuade me out of chosing this job. I am still sad because of it. But I am too old now to begin this career.

My career is not important for me, my work is only a tool to have money for the things I need.

i dont call my work a career it is more a business, because it is a family own business, i work because it give me money, plus i dont have to work for any body else, and i can sit there and slack off if i want. but most of the tiem i work hard when i need to.
