Eye - Our beautiful eyes
Yes i do have the same problem and i went to the eye clinic and found out about that operation but as u said it is too costly according our currency its 30,000 Rupees But there is one more thing, one person at an optical center said me that if we co for that operation , after we become old and unfortunately get cataract it will a big problem and cannot be cured at that time becoz our eye's cornea gets weakened So the final decision which i have taken is to go for the contact lences

cool frame - cool frame
I've worn glasses for years and have no problem with feeling self-conscious.It's just not an issue for me.Anyhow,Lasik is great, from what I've heard, but you may have to have it done again in 15 years or so. It's pretty expensive now. i rather stick abck to cool frama. Its in fashion now.lol

I've had lasik. I'm diabetic and needed it to reduce the chnaces of weaker blood vessels in my left eye breaking. One broke in my right eye, so I opted for the surgery.Go for it, it's quite simple.

I am trying anew excersise programme that has really benefitted me, why dont you try it for a change, its first three lessons are free to try. if you feel its beneficial then may be you can join the whole programme. I benefited from it, I really feel relaxed in my eyes the strain is gone after these simple excersies. before spending so much money may be you can try this once, for a month.

My ex has a sister who has done this and the results were amazing. She now has better eyes than me *lol* and she never has to wear glasses again.. BUT you should think twice before because it could go wrong and instead of your sight getting better you could end up blind!

I want to have it done, I can't see without my glasses and it cna get frustrating. One thing that worries me about is I don't know how long it will work, the reccomend it for older people but so far we don't know that someone who is say 20 will still have the lasting affecting at say 50. So I don't know its worth getting done.

Lasik is great for many people! Very quick and you're out of there, but what you don't hear about are some of the complications that can happen. Do you know who Kathy Griffin is? On her website she shows the complications she had from lasik, like the cells in your eye can start growing uncontrollably and block your vision and other bad things can happen that a doctor can't really help. Don't get me wrong, if I needed glasses I would probably get it done too if I had the money but I tend to have bad luck with procedures so I would have to research it very well first. Good Luck!

My eyesight is pretty bad, and I really wanted to get lasik done for quite some time. It's not that I hate wearing glasses (I actually think I look quite good in them), but I hate the fact that I depend on them so much. The problem is, my main eye problem is not myopia or hyperopia, it's ASTIGMATISM. Lasik is great for myopia and hyperopia, but the technology is not at the point where it will fix astigmatism. Therefore, even if I got lasik done, it wouldn't remedy most of my eyesight problems. :( Quite unfortunate. Thankfully, I'm only twenty years old, and I trust that soon enough lasik technology will be at the point where it can safely remedy astigmatism as well as myopia and hyperopia.
