Ice Storm

Well we finally got a winter storm but it's the worse kind. We are having freezing rain. I woke up this morning and school was called off and I happened to look outside and a tree has fallen on our camper. Doesn't look like it did any damage that I can see. I can't get to it and I'm afraid to walk under the tree in fear of another large branch breaking off.
I Think I would have rather had snow. I hate driving on ice.
We are suppose to get snow later today and tommorrow. It will be the first snow we've had this winter. I was hoping for no snow. Atleast it won't be like colorade. They have shut down denver. To bad out for anyone.

So sorry for all your bad weather. We had an ice storm last year and it was bad. We were out of electric for days. Trees and lines down everywhere. You could walk outside and it sounded like the fourth of July. All the tree branches breaking, and transformers blowing. I feel for Denver. It really looks like a big mess.

Just a few trees down no loss of power, thank goodness. Now tonight we have really dense fog.

I am from India, never seen ice strom, actually never seen snow fall as well. But I guess it quite dangers to drive while ice strom is on. I ahve seen in the movies , people driving in ice.....

Let me tell you this....the past 2 days have been so cold, I swear I almost didn't go to work yesterday...
Today, I stayed home, We got snow and it's about 16 degrees here. Schools are out and I'm staying in...lol lol..
Tonight with the snow that has fallen about a inch or so, it supose to turn into ice by morning, since the temparture is below freezin level. The sun is out bright today melting it...
I probably won't go to work tomorrow. I can't drive in ice or snow. I don't trust myself out in it, nor do I trust others...lol
