Do you have any fun activities for school age kids?

I was wondering what fun things you could share to do with school age kids during Christmas Break?

Hi! My daughter (4yoa) and I have been finding a lot of things to do. We make bracelets and necklaces using beads (some pony beads, but she's been able to string the smaller glass beads, too) and elastic cording. She loves to do that and it really holds her interest. Kids could also string beads onto pipe cleaners to make wreaths, jewelry, animals, etc. We've been using yarn pompons to make snowmmen (a great use for lefover yarn). We make three different sizes of pompons and glue them together, bottom, middle, and top, to make a snowman. We use buttons or beads to make the eyes, nose, and mouth, etc, and I crochet or weave a scarf for around its neck. Kids could also make pillows or pin cushions by gluing pieces of felt together, stuffing them like pillows, and decorating them. Crayola has a great website (I believe it's crayola.com) with lots of printable crafts and activities for kids. That's all I can think of right now. I'll post more if I think of more. Hope that helps!
